Samsung beats Apple to top PC market in Brazil

Samsung has become the top PC vendor in Brazil, overtaking Apple and Dell, according to an annual survey conducted by Brazilian newspaper O Estado de S. Paulo. The iPhone maker had to settle for the second spot.

Last year, Apple lead the PC market in the South American country, with both Samsung and Dell coming in at the second spot. Its worth mentioning that Samsungs increase in Brazilian PC market share comes even as both local and global PC markets have been going down.

According to officials at the South Korean company, their aggressive marketing primarily helped them achieve the top spot.
