Its not just the iOS client, Microsoft has updated Skypes Android app as well. The update bumps the app to version 7.17 and brings along several changes, including those related to reliability on select Samsung devices.
With the update, the app becomes more reliable on Samsung devices running versions 6.01 and 5.1.1 of Googles mobile operating system. Presumably, it fixes issues that arose due to Samsungs non-standard Android implementations.
Aside from this, the update adds accessibility support for cards from bots and resolves issues related to changing device orientation while recording a video message.
Also, sign-in process for Microsoft account users has been simplified, and contact discovery for phone number user accounts has been streamlined. Head to the Source link below to download the updated app.
