Less than 24 hours ago, the Asus Zenfone AR finally made its much anticipated debut in the US, when pre-orders started for the smartphone at Verizon. While Big Red will be the only US carrier to sell the Zenfone AR, theres also an unlocked version of the phone for the country - and this one has become available today.
If you dont mind grabbing the iteration that has only 6GB of RAM and 64GB of built-in storage, then know that its currently in stock at Amazon. Youll have to pay $599 for the privilege of owning the first handset thats compatible with both Googles Tango AR and Daydream VR.
On the other hand, if youd rather have the model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, you can order it now but be advised that it will only ship in 2-4 weeks. This one is priced at $699. For reference, keep in mind that Verizon is charging $648 for its version, which pairs 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage.
